Bar Admission: Any U.S. state (Arizona preferred or ability to waive in)

Position Overview

A large, nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid-level Business Immigration Associate to join its Phoenix office. This role focuses on employment-based immigration matters, supporting corporate clients with nonimmigrant and immigrant visa processes for professional and skilled foreign national employees

The position is ideal for an attorney with 3–4 years of business immigration experience who is comfortable managing casework independently while collaborating with a high-performing immigration team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage employment-based visa petitions (H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-2, etc.)
  • Draft and file PERM labor certifications and immigrant petitions (I-140)
  • Advise corporate clients on immigration strategy and compliance
  • Respond to RFEs and government inquiries
  • Coordinate with HR and mobility teams on workforce immigration needs
  • Monitor case timelines and maintain immigration tracking systems
  • Support I-9 and employment eligibility compliance matters

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
  • Active bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction
  • 3–4 years of business immigration experience in a law firm environment
  • Experience with high-volume corporate immigration matters
  • Strong drafting and case management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and deadline management
  • Client-service oriented with strong communication skills
