Job Description:

HR Systems Analyst — HRIS Stabilization & Data Integrity

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (On-site)

Type: Contract

Role Context

Our client’s HR technology stack (ADP, BambooHR, recruiting integrations) has scaled faster than its underlying data governance and system design. As a result, reporting accuracy, data consistency, and workflow reliability have degraded.

We are hiring an HR Systems Analyst to stabilize and normalize the HRIS environment: correcting data structures, resolving system defects, and establishing durable reporting and process standards. This role is execution-focused and technical — centered on system integrity rather than HR program design.

Mission (6-Month Outcomes)

By the end of the engagement, this role will have:

  • Restored accuracy and consistency of core HR data
  • Resolved systemic HRIS errors and workflow gaps
  • Established reliable HR reporting structures
  • Documented HRIS architecture and data standards
  • Reduced manual correction and ad-hoc reporting

What You Will Own

  • Audit and normalization of employee and organizational data across HR systems
  • Correction of titles, reporting lines, comp structures, and employment states
  • Definition of HR data standards and validation rules
  • Construction of reliable HR reporting models and dashboards
  • Troubleshooting HRIS integrations and vendor interactions
  • Documentation of system architecture, workflows, and reporting logic

Systems Environment

You will operate across:

  • ADP
  • BambooHR
  • Recruiting and ATS integrations
  • Excel / Google Sheets reporting layers
  • Cross-system data flows

Required Background

  • Strong hands-on experience with ADP and BambooHR
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets data modeling
  • Experience with relational data structures and reporting logic
  • Proven HRIS data cleanup or stabilization work
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve system inconsistencies
  • Comfort operating in imperfect or legacy system states
  • High discretion with sensitive HR data

Measures of Success

Within the contract period, this role will:

  • Eliminate critical HRIS data inconsistencies
  • Deliver trusted headcount and org reporting
  • Establish repeatable HR data governance checks
  • Document system workflows for sustainable operation
  • Reduce HR manual reconciliation work

Why This Role Exists

HR decisions and workforce planning depend on accurate system data. This role restores structural integrity to the HRIS layer so the organization can operate on reliable workforce information.

Compensation

$65–$70/hour depending on experience.

Full on-site engagement.
